The School of Accountancy is a quality provider of accounting and business law education and research. We create successful career opportunities for graduates, conduct and disseminate applied research, and contribute to the accounting profession and wider community.
The School is a large academic unit at Massey.
We provide quality accounting and business law education to give students the knowledge, skills and values to develop successful professional careers.
We offer internal and extramural undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including professional development. We also run a Summer School between November and February.
School of Accountancy staff are engaged in a wide range of research of international standing. We encourage applied research and scholarship in the pursuit of academic excellence, and reward outstanding achievements.
We place a high priority on support and resourcing for research by emphasising publication in quality journals, presentation of research papers at international conferences and identifying and nurturing emerging areas of research.

Massey University’s Manawatū campus is in Palmerston North. The School of Accountancy teaching spaces are predominantly in the Business Studies building (which has ‘Business Studies West’ and ‘Business Studies Central’ wings).
Massey University’s Wellington campus is in the suburb of Mt Cook. The Massey Business School offices and teaching spaces are predominantly in Building 5.
