This scholarship is available to international students studying in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. It is valued at NZ$5,000 per year for up to NZ$20,000 for undergraduate programmes, and NZ$10,000 for postgraduate programmes.
Funded by the New Zealand Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), a New Zealand Scholarship offers eligible candidates the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills through study that will assist in the development of their home countries. Awardees are required to return to their home country for at least 2 years after the completion of their scholarship to apply these new skills and knowledge in government, civil society, or private business organisations. The aim of the Massey University Dilmah Tea International Study Award is to recognise the relationship between Massey University and Dilmah Tea. It is for Dilmah Tea Employees and their immediate family members, who are new international students at Massey University and have demonstrated evidence of a project they have led that has contributed to a positive impact on their community.
The aim of the Massey Business School, International Student Study Award (“the Award”) is to attract top-achieving new international students enrolling in full-time business programmes on the Albany, Palmerston North (Manawatū) or Wellington campuses at Massey University.
The Awards may be awarded annually, and will be to the value of $5,000 per 120 credits enrolled, for up to the total credit value of the Programme

The award will be awarded for a term equivalent to the full-time study period for the recipient’s programme, but subject to satisfactory academic performance to instalment payments after the first year
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage students to enrol in an Engineering, Food Technology, or Nutritional Science degree at Massey University. Up to 10 scholarships will be awarded to the value of NZD $3,000 for one year only.
This is open to students who have demonstrated academic excellence in Creative Arts subjects while studying in New Zealand or abroad for the following programmes:
Each Scholarship is valued at NZD $20,000 for a 4-year degree or NZD $15,000 for a 3-year degree. Application deadline: 1 December for February entry and 1 May for July entry.
Pacific scholarships are open to applicants from government, civil society, private business organisations and qualified secondary school leavers to support both undergraduate and postgraduate study. Applications are welcome from the following countries Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. Massey University invites high achieving, excellent Chinese students to apply for PhD study in New Zealand with scholarship support from the China Scholarships Council (CSC) and the University. There are up to 10 scholarships available annually and applications for admission at Massey close on 15 January 2020.
