Our conveniently scheduled 3-weekly or 6-weekly (differs by location) contact courses take place mainly on weekends, with no evening classes meaning minimal disruption to your work and family life.
In 2020 the EMBA will be taught in Albany (Auckland’s North Shore), Auckland Airport and Palmerston North. You’ll have great access to teachers and gain more value from peer work groups with small, focused classes and extended networking. The Massey Executive MBA programme commences with an orientation in Palmerston North followed by the first paper. Your 19 months of contact courses plus six months of research are divided into Part I and Part II. You have a maximum of 30 months to complete the programme.
In 2020 the Executive MBA will be taught in Auckland (Albany and Auckland Airport) and in Palmerston North.
Auckland (North Shore) – classes are held every third weekend in Albany, on the Auckland campus.
Auckland (South Auckland) and Palmerston North – our South Auckland & Palmerston North classes are held over a long weekend (Friday to Sunday or Monday) every sixth weekend in the first year. In Auckland it is at a hotel near Auckland Airport, in Palmerston North it is on the Massey Campus.
Twice during the first year all classes come together, at Orientation which includes the first paper in Palmerston North and for the Marketing paper in Auckland. In the second year all regional classes are taught together at various locations.
The EMBA is a selected entry programme for which you will need to apply. Requirements for entry include a bachelor degree and minimum of seven years work experience and two three years of management experience. We do accept a limited number of candidates without a degree based on exceptional work experience, please contact the EMBA office for specific details.
The 2020 domestic course fees are $2,640 for each 15 credit course, approximately $42,300 for the programme. The fee covers textbooks including e-books, study materials and catering on teaching days. Annual non-tuition fees will also apply. Tuition, non tuition and study tour costs (up to $8,600) may be covered by the Student Loan scheme if you are eligible, please refer www.studylink.govt.nz
