Opportunities for students to become Bloomberg certified, through training sessions.
The c-Trader University Challenge is being run for the very first time in 2015. Sponsored by OMF, the challenge offers club members the opportunity to test their strategies and learn how to trade forex using a live trading platform, using demo money.
The student with the highest account balance at the end of the competition receives a $500 cash prize.
Students from the Investment Club are prepared for competitions such as the CFA Research Challenge. The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a global competition which tests the analytic, valuation, report writing, and presentation skills of university students. Each year, a team of students is chosen to represent Massey University at the New Zealand competition, with the possibility of moving onto regional and international levels.

The Investment Club extends into the community visiting schools to promote finance as a career and to create awareness around money, investing and personal financial management. College students now have the opportunity to visit the University and find out more about the Trading Room, Bloomberg Terminals and the Investment Club.
