The Human Nutrition team at Massey University, Albany are currently recruiting parents of young children to take part in a research project titled “The Healthy Eating Index Study”.
We would like to recruit the parents of young children (2-8 years) who are willing to help us with this research.
In summary, the aim of the study is to develop a healthy eating index for young children and to validate this against a four-day food record. The study will be run over 8 weeks and require a total of 1.5 hours to complete. More information is available here.
The questionnaire will become a useful tool in assessing the quality of the diet of young children in New Zealand. The questionnaire is quicker to complete than the traditional food record. In thanks for their time and efforts, participants will receive a gift pack containing plenty of useful resources.
Please feel free to send on to friends and family who have young children between the ages of 2 and 8 years old.
Please do not hesitate to contact one of the researchers if you have any questions regarding the study.
